The following coatings were analyzed: E1 - titania PEO coating, E2 - titania and Ca-, P containing PEO coating, E1- RGD titania PEO coating modified with integrin-active RGD (arginine-glycine-aspartic acid) tripeptide sequence anchored to the surface with a bisphosphonate linker.
