В сентябре 2024 году исполняется 150-лет со дня рождения Н.А. Семашко - первого народного комиссара здравоохранения (1918-1930 гг.), выдающегося организатора здравоохранения, создавшего систему советского здравоохранения, не имевшую аналогов в мире. В статье раскрывается роль Н.А. Семашко, внесшего неоценимый вклад в создание учреждений охраны материнства и младенчества (ОММ) в нашей стране, рассматривается формирование одного из приоритетных направлений государственной политики страны - системы охраны материнства и детства от периода становления до наших дней, представлены вопросы истории становления системы ОММ в Республике Башкортостан. На примере динамики основных показателей здоровья населения (младенческой и детской смертности), показана роль трехуровневой системы оказания педиатрической и акушерско- гинекологической службы в Республике Башкортостан.

September 2024 marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of N.A. Semashko, the first People's Commissar of Health (1918-1930), an outstanding organizer of health care, who created the Soviet health care system that had no analogues in the world. The article reveals the role of N.A. Semashko, who made an outstanding contribution to the creation of maternal and infant health care (MIH) institutions in our country, considers the formation of one of the priority areas of the country's state policy - the maternal and childhood health care system from the period of formation to the present day, and presents issues of the history of the formation of the MIH system in the Republic of Bashkortostan. Using the example of the dynamics of the main indicators of population health (infant mortality), the role of the three-level system of providing pediatric and obstetric-gynecological services in the Republic of Bashkortostan - is shown.
