Abstract: Starting from ethylene glycol and cis-butene-1,4-diol, 1,3-dioxacycloalkanes derivatives with carbo- and heterocyclic fragments were obtained and characterized by mass spectrometry and NMR. Studying the herbicidal activity of the obtained compounds on monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous plants confirm the feasibility and prospects of creating herbicides combining in their structure cycloacetal and gem-dichlorocyclopropane fragments. © 2022, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
